Motivation

Give yourself a pat on the back each time you complete a step on the way in your over all plan to reach your goal. Look back at the starting-point, and look at what you have achieved this far. Each step is a small victory! A reason to feel good about yourself. A source of energy to continue your journey towards your goal. Each step you take, no matter how small, brings you closer!

When it feels hard to keep moving, look back at where you started. If you wrote down why you wanted to do this, read it again and repeat it to yourself as often as you need. Here you can find much strength and energy when it feels difficult and your feel like you loose track of your goal. It is completely natural to get setbacks and to run into unexpected obstacles. It is natural to feel like giving up. But when you feel like that, it is very important to honor your agreement with yourself and push through. The reward in the end is greater if the path has been hard. And do not fear a rough path if it takes you to where you want to go. The rougher the terrain, the more experience you get. The stronger you get. Always remember that moment when you decided to reach your goal and the moment you took your first step towards it. You started this journey. You made this choice and you made this commitment. If you choose to quit you quit on yourself, and the consequences are yours alone. No one will thank you for quitting nor for completing. This is entirely up to you. And you can do it!
